I managed to paint a Christmas themed Llama and have it up for sale on my Society6 page. However, more importantly, I managed to paint!! I also have more ready to be painted... more images for Christmas gifts that I will be adding later as well. So I think for now, I can say I am back in the saddle for freelance or just painting in general.
Cheers everyone!

Reconnecting to Freelance
It has been a very long time since I have even signed onto my blog. I am not sure if anyone will be interested at this point, but I think it only fair to quickly summarize why the long hiatus.
I had a baby boy named Benjamin in September 2013 and everything changed!! Especially about a year or so after he was born. I was still doing projects here and there for my favorite client, Fadenrot, but I was also finding out that my son had ASD. So I dropped my freelance ball to pick up another... and face his needs head-on.
He is doing wonderfully. I am happy to say that much of the time spent on his needs have indeed paid-off and I am proud that I made sure my son got the care he needed. However, it also means that I have absolutely no idea where my career stands at this point. I am again searching, putting the feelers out there, poking around at the online communities and children's illustration projects. Where it will lead me? I do not know.
So I say hello and hopefully not good-bye again...
I guess if I suddenly go missing again it can be assumed that I have found my son or family needs me more.
